Two sessions today ... first one at Little Maui.
Met up with RichO (U-Surf) and rigged 6.4m Remedy on borrowed 'demo' 3S107 and hike over the dune.

Had a fun session with times of frustration. Wind was cross-off and pretty marginal in the main. Some gusts were coming through which proved a bit more fun. At times there wasn't enough wind to waterstart though.

It was a shame that the waves weren't a bit bigger and when you did get one, it was quite fun.

As it got a bit more gusty, I opted to de-rig and head up to Jury's as it looked cleaner wind up there. Considered rigging up bigger kit (Rocket & 7.4m) but wind did fill in and was cleaner .... so re-rigged the 3S107 and 6.4m Remedy. Was better than earlier, and it seemed the waves were better too at Jurys. Perhaps all the sand banks have shifted about?

Was having fun up to the point where I'm out the back and the wind switched off completely ... not enough to waterstart. Floated back in, de-rigged, and headed home.

Maybe I should have had less ale friday night at the footy re-union and hauled my sorry ass over to Ashford to join the boys on their Wissant raid?
